6 months and it'll stay viable. After that, it slides down hill on a bell curve.

I have had 1 year old pollen work. Viability was like 10% or less. Had to really bury the pistils in it. So call it 6 months..

The keys to the freezer thing...... Desi packs from things shipped or in items packed. Oven at 300 deg. 4 hrs or more depending on the size package.

Rice does not work as well as many think it does...It does not soak up moisture from the air! Rice = wive's tale! For the most part...

Silica gel - Inside those desi pack's - The best stuff you can use..

#1: Use that re-charged desi pack I had you save and dry back out.

#2: Remove container from the freezer and go directly to the fridge to thaw - over night. Then from the fridge to the counter top. Let the container come to room temp or warmer - DON'T force heat it.
What your doing is minimizing the chance of condensation destroying the pollen......Pollen and water are like Acid's and Base's. Don't mix or they kill each other on contact. Moisture is the death of pollen's.

Spill pollen? Need to sanitize so it doesn't deflower other girls.. Simply spray water on all surface's....

Remember No Rice! Silica gel.
Thaw in fridge and let come to room temp on the counter before opening!
