Pollen from cut plant

Hi all,

I just cropped a hermie plant and put it for curing. I just cleaned the room so that I will put the new one that just sprouted. How long can pollen stay in the air or how long after cutting the plant can the pollen affect my new plant?

I wouldn't figure pollen to be viable at all but I would give your room a good cleaning to stay on the safe side. Better safe than sorry in this case.
