So why where you perscribed marijuana. What does it help you out with. I had a bad motorcycle wreck. Under shot a jump by about 10 feet. im a card carrier now but i think it is ridiculous.its my right to smoke pot whether im sick or wanna party, the medical issue only takes away from our right to the pursuit of happiness.

I 100% agree with 2much. Sure, some people use MJ for medical purposes...pain control, migraines, to help with appetite...and that's fine by me. I could say that I smoked because of the migraines I've had since high school (which I do) but that's definitely not my only reason. I smoke to get high. But it shouldn't matter either way. I think that after a legal age it should be up to an individual to decide if they want to smoke MJ, just like with Alcohol and Tobacco, neither of which I use.
I'm not in a legalized state so even if I did need it for medical reasons I couldn't get it.
(Sidenote: Not to be insensitive, but I wonder how many people fake medical conditions to get medicinal MJ. Most people who are rooting for legalization in my neck of the woods don't even have a medical condition that would require MJ. They just want to get high too.)

all use is medical use in my book. recreational use is considered preventative medicine as far as i am concerned. especially if you drink alcohol or smoke ciggarettes (i do neither) it has been proven that regular cannabis use will help to mitigate the cancerous effects of these products.

They should make alcohol illigal. I have never heard of anyone coming home and beating the shit out of there wife of kids cause they where baked. Alcoholism runs in my family so i have seen that shit first hand.
