point me toward a good ph tester!

^ I was thinking of picking up that same one. I have had a Milwaki Pen and a Hanna Pen and both ended up failing. One i paid $25 the other $50. I was going to splurg and get the hanna probe for like $190 - but everything i can find on that one you posted seems good. But cheap ones I had failed after about a month. not entirely sure how accurate they were when they were working. messed up thing about the hanna is 7.0 calibration solution looks good, but when i put it in the water it just reads way wrong. i have had it read 4.0+ and 7.0 in the same bucket without changing anything. just taking it out, putting it in something else then coming back. so i want something i can trust! sorry to hijack here, but it's relevant to op

How long you had it?
What others have you had to compare it too?
How is the accuracy in comparison?

I had a Hanna and it didn't last long before the probe screwed up but I guess that could happen to any of them. My current one is a Milwaukee and it's fine. Just stay away from the multi-meters; those are garbage. You can find good pH testers on fleabay for $30 or so. I'll never buy a real expensive tester again.

right now i have this one...

it BLOWS!

i have also had this one...

Also, very bad. Lasted even less then the hanna, it just plain stopped working. which might have been better in really, because it didn't make me think that it was working properly.

I will never buy a cheap one again myself...
