I've heard and seen people use milk (non-fat) for mildew prevention. I honestly never have used milk. Best to use a mixture of peroxide &/or a little bit of vinegar mixed with water for p.m. That is why you used the milk for right, p.m?

yeah haha i know now that some of the white stains are from milk but if theyr were other spots there in the first place then what is it, im stumped.. and i also sprayed with soap and water at the beggining of the season for bugs, so and slugs had a very bad slug problem but they never saw this plant haha, they ate my other purple kush in half and its growing two tops because it got ate right above a node..i put that in a hole that i had a male in and its doing ok i guess. ill upload a pic of that in a few days aswell. so maybe it was from soap and water before i sprayed the milk on and that caused more.. wat do u guys suggest how should i clean her off haha

Are you serious? Am I missing something here? So you did spray it with milk before you took these pictures and then you came here to ask why there are white stains? I now see why people react to some posts they way they do on RIU.

WOW, I cant believe the rude attitude you got, how disgusting.

Ummm and wtf, people giving you shit for using milk as a treatment for powdery mildew, well you know right there if they don't know something that basic, why listen to anything else they say. Gosh at least look things up if your gonna sling shit.

Oh and the for those who seriously don't know this. Powdery mildew happens outdoors. I mean really, where did the idea this is solely an indoor issue come from (insert rolling eyes)

Sulphar is a good treatment if you are not flowering, but for a mild case seriously the milk mix is all you need. Just make sure its skim milk, or 2% fat, and mix 9 parts water to one part milk. And ofcourse this gives a little extra calcium to the plants that they love. I have done this personally and had great success.
If it doesn't seem to clear up, and starts to get worse, just go get some sulphar and spray it on.

Has it been wet in your area, or high humidity, that would cause it.

Obviously you missed something, because I read just fine that the spots were there before the first application of milk. Gosh dang what is this, highschool complete with bullying.
Im starting to remember why I stopped posting here the first time around.

I know I run the risk of being jumped on.... but at first glance it looked like bird shit to me :P I have had plant leaves shit on plenty before... it is quite viscous and will be diluted by rain water and spread in similar patterns to those on your leaves... it is impossible to say with any certainty solely through pictures, but that was the first thing that jumped into my mind. Good luck ;)

Yep that milk will be fine. I just looked at the other pictures, I think the first pic does look like pm to me. Just do it in the arvo, not the morning obviously. And it wont hurt your plant one bit.

"Milk is an effective fungicide it should be mixed 1 part Milk 5 parts water." pg 472 Marijuana grower's handbook.
I planted a peach tree last month and noticed it had some PM and sprayed with neem oil seeded to work and now no signs.
today it showed up on my Red Diesel......with only 1 week to go before harvest.....
