I judge more by trichs but looking at the bud, I'd think a little longer than 2 -3 days. I've still got one plant to go myself and it's looking like it will be at least a week into Nov before it's ready to harvest...still too many clear trichs...

I would be careful just using the the color of the pistils (white hairs) to determine when to harvest. There are several things that can change the color of pistils prematurely. Checking Trics and the overall appearance of the buds is a better way to determine ripeness. Calyxs should swell, engulfing the pistils, plants will stop drinking as much, and growth will stop.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm pretty much just playing it by ear atm, regularly checking on the trics. The calyx's have definitely swelled up tho, and a lot of the pistils receded

i'd say chop em down if you have 10-20% amber and at least 75-80% milky. they look ready from the last pics you posted, but you got some worm damage it looks like. REMOVE that shit ASAP, or it will spread. the worms shit on the plants and the shit does more damage than the actual worms. remove all the dead shit. it's a very big pain in the ass, but necessary.

If its looking like spider web stuff it sounds like mold. Budworms can lead to mold. But yes, I'd just cut off all around the effected area. Try to do it carefully, not to let the mold spread or get on anything. It's still hard to say exactly without actually seeing your plants.
