I believe something is chewing at my stalk just trying to find out what it is aND how to stop it

I've had slugs boning my young outdoor plants. Tiny ones. Looks like a slimy grain of rice.

I think rats may be the problem gonna set up some traps tn

rats are smart pests if u got time and effort i would put some metal net around it and plugg it in a batteri with low curent.
