Hey guys please I need some help! I notice some yellow/purplish color on leaves show up on the past few days, I am first time grower Indoor on tent, not auto Jack Herer, around day 14 of flowering.
I feed my plant with alternating Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, and PH water, 3 times a week, soil its coast of main” The Stonington”.
Humidity been around 45 and Temp between 73 and 78F.
Are my plants ok? Please if anyone can help me would be great.
Thanks!!

Good Morning Floop...What are the NPK ratios of the nutrients you're feeding? What is the NPK ratio of the soil you're using? Let's start there....but don't worry, your plant in general looks ok. She's not going anywhere so don't sweat it or knee jerk your way into more issues. Let us know.

Good Morning thanks for your reply, So I check the ratios on the labels and here its the info:
Tiger Bloom (2-8-4)
Big Bloom (0 - 0.5 - 0.7)
soil (5-2-4)
Thanks so much you for your help, Im new on the grow so I need a lot to learn, hopefully I can get some decent harvest.

Just my two cents here; I'd drop the Big bloom all together. You have that base covered in the Tiger Bloom (remember, more is not necessarily better, and too much of something will for sure cause you issues...baby steps until you figure things out.) How long has she been in her existing soil?...is it relatively fresh or has she been in it for a good while? Are you doing anything to supplement calcium or magnesium?....does the Tiger Bloom have any of each element in it?

What's your low temperatures been like?

I'm familiar with the soil you have I've never used it but they have it at my hydro store and I've discussed it with the owner, supposed to be very good. If that soil is what they say I'm surprised you're not seeing more nute burn?

What size pots are you growing in?

So Im growing in a 5 gal pot, the lowest temp I have seen was 70 F on the tent, I hear great comment about the soil also, thanks you for your Reply!

I asked about the temperature because low temperatures cause leaves to turn purple

the yellow is likely nutrient burn

How are you pHing, and what are you pHing to?

my hydro guy told me in a 7 gallon pot you don't need to add fertilizer or pH of water to that soil the whole grow .. I've never used it I'm just saying what he told me, good luck

*Edit: so I don't know about the strain but I don't think it's purple I'm mowing my lawn but I'll see what nutrient is either locked up or overdosing your plant to making it turn purple when I get in later, advise you stop all newts and use 6.5 pH water with 20% run starting now and for a while going forward

So I been using the PH up and Down only to control the PH before watering,I just check the PH and I notice the PH on the soil still high around 7.4 even If I been watering with 6.5 PH water, so what else can I do to Put the PH down on the soil? Im using a 5 Gall pot, thanks so much For your Help I will follow your advices!

How are you coming to a soil pH of 7.4? Cuz that soil is supposedly pretty well made..

Next water I would use 6.5 (have you calibrated your meter recently?), get about 20% runoff and check its ph and PPM

Yeah I have 2 meters for the water PH and they accurate one its new, to check the soil PH im using a cheap 3 way meter, here its a picture with the soil PH, thanks so much for all your help you been great!

Don't use those three-way meters maybe for moisture but nothing else ever, do yourself this big favor..

Here's info about your soil..
https://coastofmaine.com/product/stonington/

I would suggest that you read that because that's very rich soil & you don't need to feed anything.

If I added newts at all it would be light Bloom booster at the very end, last few weeks.

I would recommend you water (only when dry) with properly pHed 6.5 water, allowing for 10 - 20% run off every time and continue to monitor your run-off with your meter, NOT with the three-way meter spike thing, those are useless, let us know how it goes

All right give the plain water at 6.5 a try and see if things start straightening out and see if your numbers start looking better when you check the run off with the meter, let us know

* edit just realized I didn't help you with the purple LOL busy day I'll get a chance between now in the morning to see if I can find something about that

The purple leaves are likely from a phosphorus deficiency or lockout, see how things go with the new growth when you start feeding the pH 6.5 water

I feed GH flora 3 part, I like a three-part because I know how much N-P-K my plant is getting when I feed, and that eliminates most deficiencies.

You're welcome. The yellow leaves will die but New Growth is what you want to check going forward. Also I think for my next soil purchase I'm going to grab a bag of that same soil, I'm pretty sure I can go six to eight weeks without feeding anyting in my 3gal. pots, maybe longer ?

So today was water day, I did with PH water only 6.5 , I know for now I have a crappy Soil Ph Test, so I check it and came down a little around to 7, (By the way I have a better one on the way so should to be here next week), So I forgot to ask you should I flush them or just slowly the PH on the soil will came down? Thanks again Beachwalker you are a Master!!
