oh and id go with lc 4% turbinado sugar to water simply amazing turning 1cc of spores into 500. get a magnetic stirrer and you will have 40% done in a week

another thing you will wanna do is take the fastest and biggest shroom and take the spores from that after youve had your lc for 6 months just to make sure your lc isnt loosing its structure. if you do that your colonizing times will decrease along with boosting your yeilds. this is from my own experience not a fact just has worked for me

technically you can't clone from spores.
You can clone from tissue though. Search for cloning and LC on the shroomery, I don't feel like explaining it now.

BAM !!

im here .
Basically what you NEED is
- a syringe
- a piece of printing paper
- a cup .
- scalpel , or exact o knife
- fresh cap (wet) or a fresh dried cap <-- wet is better.
- alcohol lamp

#1 sterilize knife using the lamp .

#2 cut the cap off , possibly leaving part of the stem (doesnt need to be perfect)

#3 place it gill side down on white printer paper (if using freshly dried add 2 drops of water to the TOP of the cap -not the gills).

#4 place cup over cap . (to prevent spores from blowing away)

#5 wait 24/hr

#6 sterilize water by boiling it , then wait for it to cool .

#7 sterilize syringe(via lamp) then draw 10 cc's of water

#8 scrap the accumulated spores into the cup , then add the 10 cc's of water

#9 release the water from the syringe around the inside edges of the cup to collect any spores stuck to the sides .

#10 do this three times . (by redrawing the SAME 10 CCs of water !)

sterilization is absolutely key , shorts cuts = contamination .

I highly recommend purchasing "the mushrooms cultivator" <- great book

hope it helped =)
