im a new grower an i just planted this one plant an another little one a few months ago.

is my plant growing properly?

when will it start budding?

any information what so ever would be helpful .

They are super stretched you need to have that light WAY closer and you need to get more lights, you are using CFLs and not incandecsent right?
 
yeah im pretty sure how close shud i put the light.
an is there anything i can do to help my plant.

cuz i dont know that much about growing

i just love smoking weed an figured it was a good way to get free bud lol

if theres suggestions from anyone feel free to tell me things to do to.
i want to make so the plant grows proper an all my work isnt too waste
 
Yea, its really stretched bro, if your using CFL's you can get them to about 4 - 5 inches away and sometimes closer, but 4 - 5 inches is close enough for me lol.
 
Also, if thats tin foil, use the dull side, people say the non dull side makes hot spots and burns your plant. better safe than sorry :eyesmoke:
 
Yeah those plants are way too stretched out. I use CFLs and my nodes are about 1 inches apart. I think 4-5 inches is too far away for CFLs, I keep mine about half an inch from touching the top. You can do this because CFLs put out virtually no heat. Also get some more on that plant and you might just want to think about scrapping that one and starting over, or taking a clone from it if you find out it's a female and start that with the right amount of light.
 
i didnt even kno the lights were supposta be that close lolll. shows how much i know.

at least ill know that for the next grow

dosnt anyone know when budding may start an how i can maby speed it up?
 
You tell your plant when to start flowering (budding). When vegging you usually keep the lights on 24/0 or 18/6 and when you want to start flowering you switch the lights to a 12/12 schedule which will simulate the fall coming which will cause your plants to flower. As far as when to start, it's up to you. I like to start when my plants are 12 inches tall because during flowering plants with double to triple in size. Yours looks over 12 inches but there is almost no vegetation on it because of your lack of light but when mine get 12 inches they have very dense vegetation. Your plants probably only have three leaves again because the lack of light needed to grow the vegetation..
 
so even if i get more lights now an start turning off the lights for 6 hours daily
will the plant still bud an create smokable weeD?
 
You will have to turn the lights off for 12hours uninterupted with no light leaks total darkness every day and don't allow the lights on period to be longer than 12 hours then they will bud. You will have to support them so they don't fall over from the buds, and there wont be much bud but you will get something.
