:joint: ok so i have a mini fridge i converted into a grow box. I have 3 42 watt cfl and 2 20watt cfl bulbs in thair but they got a little hot and the temps went up to about 88 dagrees i put a thin pice of clear plexi glass between the plants and lights and it made a hellovea diffrence, my temps dropped to 70 degrees. i was just wondering if that cut down on my light (im sure it did, i figured as much) and if so will it cut out too much light? if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

The amount of light you lose is so small better heat control is a fair trade off. Creating the right environment for the plant often involves finding the right balance of factors.

yeah i wouldn't think it would make to big of a difference as long as it's clear plexi.
atleast your cutting down the heat which is worse for the plants

ok so here is the update, i didnt just drop the temps i pritty much eleminated them, there is about a 2 degree diff between night tems and day temps is that a bad thing?(sorry for the noob question my first grow was in a tent and i had no temp probs i had i 15 degree diffrence witch i read sevral places was preferable, i needed more stealth so i went with the fridge witch was about the same size as the tent)
