so my babies have been growing for what seems like FOREVER!!! and i've screwed up bits and bobs along the way, but they've been on 12hr cycle for ages, and i do have a few females (and a few hermies as i learnt the other day) but the buds just aren't getting big and lovely.

the light sits about a foot off, i have the expensive additives n all that rubbish but they seem to be in a holding pattern.

can anyone pleeeeease help me get them the last mile???

ok just took a quick couple pics, i add 5 ml of ozi tonic to one litre of water every day, it's a 250 watt long one, goes in the ballast, and they've been on 12/12 for about 10 weeks but for the first while i had the light way too far away so they've only been doing stuff for about 5 weeks or so

they look good to me.. shitty qulity pics but the plant looks good.... every day ur adding nutes??? they dont need that much.. that can stun ur growth or create other problems.. then u try to add more to compensate for it and then do more damage... 10 weeks eh??? so what they didnt show signs of bud till 5 weeks??? u say a 250 long one, like a tube/florecent???

if your watering every day in soil thats could be your problem.., be shure not to feed any nitrogen

thats what i mean, espeacily with nutes... even tho the botle says the recomended dose... often it is still too much.. u could have a nute lock out from all the salt build up.. but then, depending on the size of pots hes using and temps in the room, he may need water every day

so that looks on track to you? yeah i just took a couple quickies with my phone. i just checked the site i got the lamp off, it says it's "250W HPS BALLAST+SHADE+LAMP COMBO" i will add less nutes for sure, some of the leaves at the bottom have yellowed up a bit and i heard that's too much nutes. and yeah, my timeline may be slightly out coz i'm usually high lol

ide get off the nutes and feed it molases and water from here on out.. it will flush them, fatten ur buds and give it a sweeter taste

the yellowing is norm in flower... its using up all the nutes stored in ur leaves to develop resin... im in the same boat kinda.. they jus stopped growin like.. maybe its jus me, idk but.. im jus gonna feed it molases and water from here on out.. its beifical in lotsa ways in flowering... and since adding nutes every day can stun them, u think it needs more, and more to compensate then creating new problems till is too late

If in soil grow water them every other day with about 300ml of nute water and when your in the last 2 weeks of budding use same pattern but only fresh water no nutes and last 2-3 days give it nothing. do this and you should be fine.

P.S. its still needs nitrogen but only about 5% just fyi

lower leaves yellow because they dont get enugh light, high nitrogen will slow ya down yer plants look awful green.... if yer have to water every day sumthin is really off to make it dry out that quick.... pots too small temps too high or yer just plain overwatering, guess you could be not watering enuff too if you just wet the serface every day and it dries right up

oh sry.. i missed ur post bout the not being able to get mollases... not even in the grocery store??? dont u guys eat pancakes??? 1-3 tblspoons per gallon of water.. jus putthe table spoons in a cup, add a bit of warm water, trill till its thin then add to ur gallon of water

haha we have it apparently it's in obscure specialty stores. we do syrup with pancakes!!! one last thing, how do you know when it's time to dry? that they've done all the growing they've got in em?

when ur trichs(crystals) swell like mushrooms and explode... they will go from clear to cloudy to amber... if u pluck them when they r swollen and cloudy and about or a lil less then 1/2 have exploded and amber, then the high will be more of a head high/uplifting.. the more amber and exploded they r the more couchlocking and body buzzing... be sure to watch for this change.. u wanna try to get them b4 the whole bud turns amber and trichs have exploded, about 80%.. it is fruit and can grow beyond ripeness
