This keeps happening and I cannot figure out why. Two different strains, same water. Have tried in different containers and same problem. I have been fighting this for a while and trying to do a lot of research. Can’t figure it out. Was pretty sure i had root rot before when this happened but everything has been thoroughly sanitized and added hepa filter in my air pump line. Try to keep the ph around 6.2. Temp between 75 and 80 and humidity around 55-60. Under 6500k fluorescents. Also I will add that this time it’s only the one showing problems, but I tried exact same strains right before these and lost them both to this. Any ideas would be nice. Also I use cal mag and three part gh. That’s it.

My first time dwc . I use gh trio,gff. First thing I made mistake was using rapid start early like yours . Burnt my plants second I keep my ph 5.7-6.0 . Thirdly you gotta put your water temp and what your ppm is . Do you use tap water,ro Ect . Mines like 2 week or so in and my ppm is low 300 . Half that is my tap water . So it’s around 150 or less in nutes . My ph is 5.8 and can swing to 6.0. I’m no expert by any means but these could be your problem.

My ppm is way to high then, it’s 700, my tap is 425. I do have ro, brings it down to 10. I was trying to mix the two using about a quarter tap water. I’m thinking this is a mistake at this point. Only reason I did so is because I accidentally ordered hard water micro. I just now went ahead and ordered the right stuff and will try with straight ro. I think I got root rot before and have mixed the two up and was trying to correct the wrong thing. I really don’t want that again. I will try to get my ppm to the correct levels and give an update. Thanks for the reply.
