I am into my 7th week of flowering and I live in New England. We are due to have 4 straight days of wind and rain. I put up stakes today that are taller then my plants, I used Industrial white/clear garbage bags to cover the top buds.....( well all the ones I could get under the plastic.) I did not cover (ONE) of the plants because it is not flowering like the others are. I am hoping the rain won't hurt it. I still do not see any resin yet my buds are just starting to form full colas. Other then that I have a lot of Pop corn buds. BUT still they are buds~!!!:-P My question is should I just leave them covered for the 4 days??? Or if it stops for a few hours inbetween do I uncover them??? I may not be home either.
Oh did I mention the pain in the a55 it was to cover them without braking them??? I need until the END of October for this bud to mature. Have no idea what kind it is.... Two of the plants has purple buds all the rest are white. They are not sticky yet either. I have 13 all together and I am hoping to stock my barn with the $$$. I have 2 horses to feed. I need advise please~!!! Thanks

the rain wont do them any harm if they are able to dry out regulary. shaking the heads helps. if you cover with something that is water proof you have to give the plants air or you will grow mold/bud rot

coverer the colas with a paper bag and put a plastic one over the top to stop them sweating when the rain is heavy. you will need plenty of support though. it will be worth the effort :D
