I have a 1000w and a 250w and this time i would like to put them both over my 4 x 4 tray. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best placement that i lose the least amount of light? The tray is agianst 2 walls that are covered in Mylar. Any suggestions will be appreciated I drew up a couple daigrams with some ideas.

personally, i would put the two lights end to end toward the side of the room opposite your door.

with the 1000w closer to the wall? Another thing that sux is that the 250w is a cheap one and there is no vent holes in the hood.

The 250 would have to be hoodless because it would need to be much closer than the 1000 to do any good at all, and then it would just interfere. Maybe throw it in as a sidelight or center light at plant height vertically oriented though if you really want so the 1000 can still be optimally placed and not blocked at all.
