Please help with cge question

I want to a run a window ac into the room next door and then cirlculate filtered air into the cool room from the grow room, will this work. Please help before I cut this hugh whole in my wall. THanks

Why would it NOT work?

If you make a good cut in the wall and make sure your walls can even support the weight then it could work. I think some window units throw out cold air from one end and warm air out the other ? so as long as you don't care to have the one room hot it sounds like a great idea!

Ok I asked the handyman to wait until this afternoon until I know what im doin. Here is some more info I left out.
total room is 16 wide by 20 long, with a ceiling height like a wedge of cheese, the heightest part of the roof is like 16-18 ft. down to aroung 10 ft. I built a smaller room out of styrofoam and 2x6 boards inside that is 16 wide and 16 long and 8 tall. So the room above the 8 ft is enclosed. Here is where I want to put a window a/c. I bought a 18k BTU system, and I plan to run 2x 6 inch fans, one sucking the cool air into grow room, and the other running through a filter blowing it back into the a/c room. I have been trying all week to ask this guy at the hydro store who knows a lot about CGE, but he has been gone all week.
