:wall:I posted this a couple days ago, but the problem seams to be getting worse. Any idea as to what is causing this to happen to my fan leafs. The problem seams to be localized to the top of the plant. PS, the wrest of the plant looks healthy.:wall:

Hey there soul brotha!
I'm growing with an Aerogarden and i have exactly the same thing happening (although my leaves are only 1 weed old)
I'm fairly sure its over fertilization, i suspect that my roots are growing too close to the bottom of the tank where the nutes build up and i think that where my problems are.
What are you growing with?
Hope all goes well

Actually if anything I think I have the exact opposite problem. I used F'ing Mericle Grow. The stuff that is supposed to automatically provide food for up to 90 days. Well I did a soil test when I saw the start of the problem and N,P, and K were all low. (The soil test I used was "Rapitest, Soil Tester") Anyways I have started adding "Schultz, All Purpose Plant Food" 20-30-20 in half doses and I can't tell if that is working or not. Any thoughts...

PS, on the side of the plant food bottle it hase a couple dosages instructions as folows.

1. Bloming Houseplants, 1/4tsp per gallon
2. Outdoor Blooming Potted Plants, 1/2tsp per gallon
3. Blooming Garden Plants, 1tsp per gallon

What one should I go by? Thanks...

This kind of looks like the disease blight, but if it's only affecting the one plant you should separate it from the rest and try not to get your other plants infected. You can cut off the affected leaves once they're more than 50% diseased. Or it could just be some kind of nutrient deficiency. I would quarantine that plant and switch nutrients to a brand that caters to the needs of cannabis plants, these companies don't say it but they make their nutrients for cannabis, sure other people just may be growing lettuce with it but the majority of people I'm sure aren't right? just my opinion. If that thing gets really bad it could die.

PH is around 6.5. As far as nutes, it was Mericle Grow. The lights are fine. Like 3" or so. (CFL's) I think the problem is under nutes. Like I sad I did a soil test and everything was low. I guess my question is can low nutes cause this?

Ok, I have been told its a Calcium problem twice now. What is an easy way to ad Calcium quick? I cant find any cal/mag in my areas. Also, the food I'm starting to use, "Schultz, All Purpose Plant Food" does not state Calcium in the ingredients. Dumb question, does that mean there's no Calcium in it???

If you're using the AG, try cutting the tablets in half with a pill cutter and then using just a half of a pill. That's what I ended up having to do because my plants were doing the same thing. I asked someone on here who has done a few grows in the AG and he said that he thought it was indicative of nute burn.

Well I finally got some Cal/Mag Plus and some Fox Farm. I'm running the Cal/Mag Plus at full strength and the Fox Farm at 1/4 strength. What I think happened is I depleted the Mericle Grow off most of the nuts. I did a soil test and everything was low. I really hope this works, as the buds are getting big...
