Hello, I have 2 (2 week old) seedlings in rockwool cubes, white widow and AK-47 that are both displaying a their bottom leaves as yellow.

This is the AK-47, the Widow isn't this bad..

The P.H of the water being used is 6.5, is this ok?

It is just these two seedlings under a 400w MH in a grow tent, in a humidity dome (75%) 81F

No nutes given yet, what do you think could be causing this?

Drop your ph to 5.8-6.0....and you can't over light your plants.....heat yes...but not light.

Ok, PH to 5.7 - 6.0 What about the size of these, they are exactly two weeks old, planted at midnight on new years. Is the Ak-47 looking good size wise? The widow is ever so slightly bigger. I really appreciate any advice. Sorry the pic looks like crap, had to take with my phone.

Also, what temp should the water be if your using a bubbler? These are not in a system yet, but are going into a bubbler dwc. Is the temp of the water very critical?

thats what i don't get.. it took 3 days to germ, so technically they have been under light for 11 days, the first 7 of those 11 they were under a 62w CFL, and the past 5 days it has been under 400w MH

I'm a dirt guy so I can't help much but my seedlings were doing that crap too. Also they were under a 400W MH but at about 4' away. After I transplanted them new growth began and the yellow lower leaves fell off. Someday I'll try Hydro but been in dirt for years, hard to change.

Thanks, that helps the optimistic meter. I guess maybe the heat from the light did it, even though it never exceeded 81F..

To much water. let the rock wool almost dry out. then manually water until your roots grow out of your pot.:bigjoint: i did the same thing. my other 1 took off like crazy.:weed: i use a 400w agrosun gold bulb. kept it 30" for the first 2 weeks then moved it to 18"-24".

Roots are already at the bottom of the pots/rocks. I put in a bubbler last night, hopefully I wont have to worry about this anymore as the DWC Bubbler will water the roots continuously. Thank you all for your responses.
