so my baby is in it's 2nd week of flowering as of today and about a week ago it started getting some spots on some of my leaves but not all of them (picture #1). It seems as if it stunted it a bit because the growth process slowed down a bit. After I flushed the following day the new growth started to show and it looked well and healthy, but two days after the flush one the new leaves started just completely dying and I don't know what the problem could be (#2), I will also mention that I just recently topped my baby. I am growing in Miracle grow, with perlite, organic ferts, and orchid plant food (17,31,18) thats the orchid plant food N,P,K. Please any advice on what the problem is would be great, and I really don't know what the PH is so that could possibly be it, but please don't limit your answer to just the PH.

Not sure, but I don't think you should be topping this late in the game.

I am growing in Miracle grow, with perlite, organic ferts, and orchid plant food
If I'm reading this right, that's triple ferts.... overkill. MG already has ferts in it, which makes it difficult to control & prone to nute burn. Flush your soil, see how they react. You may or may not have to add any more nutes.

New growth is a general sign of the plants health.. you need to monitor your environmental factors as well as your feeding parameters. If you know that info then you will know what your problem is..... Its not too complicated, get your temps in range, get your PH in range, make sure your got enough light, and get air circulating.... the age old K.I.S.S. still hold true... If you don't know what any of those elements are suppose to be at please direct your questions to the FAQ section.

Honestly people that post up questions like this with no background and have taken no time/effort to give their plant the right conditions, and just expect a perfect answer from someone who has no information to base there reply on (or very limited).

Your plant could have a number of problems that caused this, it could have got too hot do you know how hot it is in there?... didn't think so... It might be because your plant's PH is way our of whack but you don't know what your PH is.... It could be that you start with soil that had plenty of food in it and you went and add more resulting in burning your plants, but if you did your research you would of known that.... Sorry if i came off sounding like I don't want to help you, I really do, its just very hard if you dont know what going on in there either.... catch my drift?

ya your plants look like they have nute burn thats why people usually dont use MG

also when you top your plants try topping them either the week before you start to flower or the 1st week into it...

but your plants do look great! :)

ya I topped it within the first week of of flowering. I do understand that it could be alot of different things that could be wrong with my girl. I will try flushing once again, and I did realize that I was adding 3 different nutes, I had a recent thread about mixing ferts and plant food and mg, but no replies, so what is another suggestion if my Organic fert that I added is a 4-6-3, my MG is .18-.-6-.12, my perlite is .04-.01-.06, and my plant food is 19-31-01. I only started adding the organic fert and the plant food when I put it into flowering. Does that help anyone out a little better with telling me what to do

Personally I would flush like you said, water with just PH'd water for a week then get back onto ONE line of nutes, Start of at 1/2 or 1/4 strength, follow the directions and you should be fine according everything else is taken care of (ie: temp, air exchange, light). You can choose to add some nutes earlier if you babe is looking like shes developing some deficiencies.

Looks like nute burn to me like everyone has already suggested. you have over ferted with mg already carrying nutes in it plus the other things you added. you should flush the crap out of it and dont feed anymore nutes and definitely not miracle grow. I suggest technaflora, fox farm or advanced nutrients. if you cant get them at your local grow shop then order online. your buds will be happy for your small investment in the long run! but dont feed for a while.

if you must use miracle grow you should wait 1 month before feeding the plant typically!

ya, well I have it in MG as I type this, thats what my plant has been in since the start. Ima flush it tonight when I wake it up, and just water it when needed for the next week with clean water. After that when do you think would be a good time to start watering it with the water I mixed my plant food in? the 19-31-17 ? Thank you for everyones help

wait until the water dries up from flushing because the soil will be very saturated and you DONT want to kill your plants this far into the process so wait about a day or two and then check and you can water again but if this is towards the end of the flowering you can just simply keep flushing with regular water and then wait until it dries and do it again this helps make the buds drier so its easier and faster for drying/curing and it takes the nute taste out of the bud

it is not towards the end of the flowering, she is in her 2nd week, so what I will do is wait till the soil dries up from the flush I did last night, and after that do you suggest I keep watering it with pure water, or should I begin the plant food mixed water? But even if I do that, wont I still get the same outcome I am in right now in about a week? So with being that, what do you think about me alternating the water I give it, so I'm not always feeding it more and more nute (plant food). make sense?
