So...my babies finally popped up. 1 white widow and 1 afghan kush...they've been popped outta the soil for...this'll be the 3rd day.
My problem is they haven't gotten any bigger in 3 days...and i'm really hoping i didn't over water um or something...

on the white widow...i can the tiny little true leaves...but they've been that way for 2 days..

and the afghan kush hasn't even opened up yet...it's still just a little ball..

I'm just worried...i don't want to kill my only 2 babies that i paid for...lol

I just got 4 23w cfls goin...temps are around 75-80.

I thought maybe i had the lights to close to the seedlings so i moved them farther away just in case.

arent those 1200 lumens? so you have 4800 lumens for 112 watts i do believe.

I was thinking of using some CFL's but my 400 HPS puts off 50,000 lumens.

first of all that was pretty funny.bongsmilie

Let the sol stay moist untill it dries out. Then water a bit more & the cfls are fine. Your cocern now should be to make sure those cfls are 6500k. The right color temperature/Kelvin Value for the vegetative state

& do not burn those clones with that 400watter your waiting on. Grow cabinets need ventilation for good ideal temps check the distance from the lights to the plants daily.

I don't really understand what ur saying in the first part.

But yeah i know it needs ventilation..i already go the fans and shiz for it! =D

Hopefully it will be enough.

he's sayin a 400 is strong for itty clones. that's 8x more lumens with HPS and a hell of a lot more heat, try touching an HID bulb.

Yeah it's cool. Just watch the watering does the rockwool drain if you squeeze it?
My babies aren't in rockwool...just soil.

And the clones won't go directly under the 400w...lol

I'm gonna use the cfl's and i think i'm gonna get a t5 fixture.

You want to gradually increase light as thy get bigger. To much light for a seedling will stress her out. You want Enoch lightto promote a healthy photosynthesis process so she can mature at a steady pace

Goose that humidity is rather low, have you been misting them? Filling a bucket with water and leaving a towel in it will help raise your humidity.
