Ive been growing for a few years now and am experiencing some new problems due to moving location. Im having nutrient issues apparently.

the biggest change was the water... Went from using good city water to using well water that is filtered thru salt to get the iron out.

foxfarm of soil
advanced sensi a+b
roots excell
voodoo
and calmag is what ive used so far.

my last crop was pretty successful and i don't know why im having problems this time.

I actually started the plants in a ebb n flow... Unfortunately my pump broke without me knowing for 3 days and thats when the damage started happening. I transplanted them
all to foxfarm soil about 2 days ago.

the pics wit the hps light on is what im more worried about but also the smaller ones too

My buddy thinks its a iron def i think its a mix between cal n mag but not sure

Has anyone had the same looking battle wounds? Nd if so how did u resolve this?
Does calmag need to be added to well water and or foxfarm soil? The ppm of water is around 120
if anyone needs to know more info please ask

thanks

Your water softener is no good for your plants. They essentially take out the hard minerals and replace with salt. I'd recommend you stop using that water immediately. I fixed my issue with a reverse osmosis filter and then just added back the cal/mg. Now you had them in hydro so I would guess your dirt isn't too bad yet and doesn't need to be flushed. Transplant probably will leave them stressed for a bit too.

This same thing happened to me when I moved from the city to the hills. I was growing in dirt the whole time and the toxic salt levels did not build up until mid-flowering, total bummer.

just like the gentlemen above stated if your well water goes through a water softener it is unusable as is. it will slowly kill your plants, normaly slow enough that it is tough to sort out what is wrong. i would change to better water and see if your problem gets better.

i also have a water softener at home and the water is unuseable for plants any plants not just ganja.

Severe nute burn you overdosed at some stage. Flush with ph'd water and run off for at least 1 min.

This is what happened the first run. Had alot of yellowing mid flower
That's because of the soil, salt build causing nute lockout.
If you use a high quality coco mix fed with hydro nutes every watering this wont happen.

Yes my return pump died on me... Didnt notice for 3 days. The res just kept filling the pots everytime the level would go down... No oxygen to the roots.... 12 plants that size drank 55 gallons of 1150 ppm mix in 3 days
