These plants are almost 3 weeks old I have started to see yellowing on the smaller plants and some brown tips on the leaves also wilting :( I have used nutes once and the. Stopes because I thought the issues I began to see were related to the nutes and over watering. But the brown tips just happened today. They are under a 400 watt mh. And I would say the light is about 18 inches above plants . I don't know the ph and I stArted to water less, but did water then today cause I freaked! It had been about 2 days from today when they watered last. Please help I don't want them to die. ThNk you in adavnce

as long as the new growth is green u might be ok just remember young plants dont need nutes for a few weeks and dont have a fan directly on them or u dry them out.. hope this helps m8

1) You can get that light closer the plants easily
2) You need more nutrients
3) Most importantly, get a pH meter!! Without proper pH you might as well water the plants with pepsi, lol
4) Water less frequently

Goodluck

corrct me if im wrong but if he says he looking like he's got nute burn the last thing he would want to do would put more nutes in?

He's used nutrients once. In his situation the yellowing / brown spots are a clear indicator of a deficiency. You have to know what nute burn is before assuming its nute burn.

hey i was trying to get these up earlier if it helps, and i just got a ph meter to but it was like 7 bucks so i dont think it is working. does anyone think they should be moved outta these cups?

deff dont use nutes yet if ur in soil!
id say there browning cus they need be in a propagator still so the humidity can feed the leaves enabling the roots to grow which in turn will be enough to feed the plant once it comes out of the propagator.. answering the question about moving out of the cups.. no need yet the roots will still be small

Those are 3 weeks old? I was expecting much bigger plants. What was the pH of your soil? I'm pretty sure the improper pH is the issue. Don't feed those anymore (again, i thought your plants were bigger, they look like they are a week old)

What soil are you using? And also there is no need to move them out of the cups yet.

yes the growing has slowed down signifcanlty. the ph meter said 7 and i am using country cottage professional mix potting soil. i asked them if it was organic when i bought it and they said yes. also when i first planted the seed these are what they went into i never used a propagator. they are alittle less than 3 weeks old. i should have been much more organized when i started to do this and take more notes. from the looks of them do you guys think they will live?
