hey all, im going to pick up whatever i need to seal my 7x3.3x10 foot closet in half and make sure there is no light leaking through running t5s on one side and a hps on the other, im very limited on space as you can see in the picture, so im trying to do some kind of black plastic with a zipper, or something to that effect so i can get the most of the room i have while still being able to access both sides, any help is greatly appreciated! im going to get the stuff today because my plants our already huge and i don't want to harvest them when their 6 feet tall

Easiest, but may have light leaks... Panda poly stapled to frame and then add a tarp zipper and cut poly in middle, just zip open and closed.... or... staple just top of poly and fasten sides with velcro. just roll up and tie off to work between rooms.

Serapis is correct, it's very easy. I staple a rectangle of plastic on each side of the door frame (8" of plastic overlapping the door frame); and tie string to nails on the door frame for tie-ups. The light lock between the two sheets of plastic will keep out any light, you could even roll a dark blanket down the middle if there's much reflected light off your plastic. I have this on a 7' x 7' door between my veg and flower rooms, works perfectly. You can remove the wooden door if it get's in the way.

To check for light-proofness turn the light in your grow room on and sit in the dark in the outer room for 15 minutes, it takes time for your eyes to adjust to the dark.

Can you cut into the wall for ventilation? Do you know how to build a light proof vent?

This is exactly how the door in my cab is. Except I have two zippers to make it a roll up door.
