Looks like your new growth is fine, I think you stopped in time. Good job on the flush.
No nutes for a while, let them go natural for a while till you don't feel the yellow leaves are prominent anymore.

well at some point last night two of my side light cfl's fell on it and burnt up some of the leaves so i trimed the ones that got burnt by the light and i also the yellow leaves as they where somewhat affected by it to. I hope that is ok, i imagine it is but im not sure im new at this so. also the purple on the stems hasnt been going away at all, in fact i think it may be spreading

Purple stems are normal, like eye color for plants. I personally think it's pretty.
If you only trimmed the burnt part of the leaf it's fine, don't pull them off completely, they're still somewhat functional, leaves=good in the beginning stages. They are needed for growth.

looks like your nute build up turned into an overwatering issue.let the soil dry out a bit then give just water a few times before restarting your nute program.
