Please Help! Leaves Curling

Hey there,

I am about 7 weeks from seed. I just switched to HPS and 12/12 a few days ago.

I am running a 3.5g DWC Scrog. I've been using GH MaxiGrow around 700PPM. I just switched to MaxiBloom around 1000PPM.

It's a 400w light. It's 16" from the plant.

Ever since I switched lights, the new growth and fan leaves are curling down like a claw. They are also looking a bit yellow.

Temps are about 80F. I always use cold water in my res and I keep a frozen water bottle next to the res.

At first I thought it was over watering or my water level was too high or maybe my air stone was clogged. I Flushed the bucket and lowered the water level way down but it has not helped.

Any suggestions???

No answers...

From what I'm reading, I think it's a Nitrogen Toxicity. I flushed my res with plain water.

Basically every leaf is curled down like a claw or twisted sideways.

Will my baby ever recover from this???

So I put 2 layers of duck tape around this new 5 gallon bucket. One layer of black and one of silver. Hopefully this helps block light from the roots as well as help insulate temp a bit.

I now am keeping 2 frozen bottles on the outside of the bucket as well as 1 frozen bottle inside. Res temp is reading 72F at the moment.

I also wrapped the air pump line around one of the frozen water bottles. Hopefully this helps blow cold air into the res.

Tent is around 75F.

Leaves are sill curled down and twisted but hoepfully she recovers in a few days. I'm flushing with just straight tap water. No nutes.

is that a clear airline going into the bucket ?

Does light travel down it into the bucket ?
Clear air line can cause algae in your res.
It is a clear air line. Should I put black tape around it?

Also, my leaves actually are recovering from the curl/twist. It must have been a problem with the temp of my res. Ever since I added my air cooled hood and started keeping a frozen water bottle in the res, the leaves started to heal.
