hi all im new to growing so bare with my, ive started with a hrodro system bubbler bucket 6 pot dwc.
ive just ot my a ec meter off ebay pic below im just a little confuse what is should be reading once in calibration solution see pic to see what it reads when in solution
on the packet is state this
CF 28
EC 2.80
PPM 1820

SEE WHAT I MEAN BY PIC AND MY PEN READING WHAT SHOULD MY PEN BE READING PPL?

put meter in fluid for one minute, calibrate meter to what package sais.

Call the company who made the meter and ask for a customer engineer or service agent. They will know more about it than anyone here.

I've never used that kind of pen, so I'm not sure I can help. I used a ph/ppm meter combo, and the only calibration I had to do was on the ph. I was given a 4% solution and a 7% solution (or maybe a 10%, I can't remember) and I had to lock the meter to those levels. If you read the instructions carefully, it will tell you what to do.

Don't worry about the ppms of the ph solution -- that's irrelevant. Once you check your tap water, you'll see the natural ph and the natural ppms, which will probably be below 400. My tap water is 140.
