Ok I have 4 plants 3 were female one male. I killed the male at the first sign. About a month later I cloned one off each strain which is gg4,pre 98 bubba, and tangie.so now I have 3 in flower and 3 clones in veg. Fast forward a couple months I harvest the 3 that was in flower. Great crop. Funky! No seeds.
Ok now where I get my mind fucked Out and need some feedback from you guys to help clear the fog. About 60 days later I put these beautiful clones into the bud tent. They look great just like their donors. Fast forward 2 months I harvest and it’s GREAT!!!!. Until I cure it and cut a bud up to smoke. A seed hit the tray? . Long story short I got 5 seeds total from the whole gg4 plant. 10 seeds total from the tangie. And zero (0) from the pre 98. Can someone please fill me in on this. Keep in mind I’ve not been around any male plants since the one I cut down a couple months ago. As a matter a fact I’ve not been around any plants other than mine. Help me please

One of the plants likely threw some nanners and sent out a little pollen.

that happens, self pollination. if you have room, grow those, I got a Critical Plus dinafem seed as a freebie from herbies in 2015, I keep finding one or two seeds and growing it out, then finding one or two more

Thanks for everyone’s input and what you say does make perfect sense so I feel better at least knowing. I would like to know which one was throwing pollen so I would at a minimum know what my seeds are crossed with. 2 are indica dominant and 1 is sativa so I may be able to narrow it down close. Last question I have is this. All three of my plants where feminized seeds. So will this self pollenation cause these seeds I got to also be feminized too or will they be regular????

Feminized

I’m guessing it was the GG4. Expert Seed description reads,
Vegetative growth is extremely vigorous and, as a result of its accidental beginnings, it is prone to turn hermaphrodite and so it is recommended to keep a close watch on it during flowering to remove any male pollen sacs that risk pollinating the female flowers.

Yeah they will be feminized , But they will carry the same hermaphroditic tendencies as the plant that created it. I'd also concur that GG#4 would prolly be the culprit , I never saw the allure of it myself, It's a marginal yielder and finicky as hell IMO.. The quality is there but there are much better plants that I would grow before another GG

I have a little cheese girl and a landrace boyfriend standing out in the yard...
Wouldn't surprise me if I got a few beans this round indoors.

I don't understand why anyone would pay what they do for seeds that say "may have tendencies to show signs of hermaphrodite". And almost $13 a seed at that. What a joke.

What is a strain you would recommend before gg4? I love the quality but I’d be lucky to get 3oz per plant. 2 and some change most the time. I wish it was a higher yeilder. So I’m up for recommendations anytime on quality and yield. Thanks in advance
