Please help (First time grower)

Hey guys, I'm a first time grower and a newcomer to the forum.

I need help in choosing what LED grow light to get, the watts and stuff, my budget for the light is not more than 100USD, please do insert a link on where to get them. Preferably an online store which ships worldwide and accept debit card,since I'm from a country where it is super hard to get an LED grow light and it's very limited. I'm planning to grow only 1-3 plant in a mid or full tower PC Case.

I'm planning to grow "Sweet Skunk" strain, because I've read that they're less smelly.Should I buy or build a carbon filter because odor is a concern, since I'm renting this apartment and my housemates doesn't smoke.

Please do recommend any other strains that are low odour and maybe a list of things to buy.

If your house mates don't smoke you are going to run into challenges to put it lightly. IF you move forward you will definitely need a carbon filter, I would recommend buying one over building it. Any Skunk strain has the potential to stink bad, you do not know what phenotype you will get even from a sweet skunk, I would look into Cinderella99.

LED's can be dangerous if you go cheap (fire hazard). Maybe someone else could point you in the right detection for a quality cheaper LED ($150-250 range).

To me it sounds like you need to save a little more for the right equipment or wait until you can get your own place where you don't have to hide it from a roomie one room over...

I'm not that clueless guys, I've done my research before posting here and it doesn't help much because there are not much information regarding LED growing. I know what to get for other things, I'm just asking for recommendation maybe you guys can give me a better gear list. Well thanks for being super helpful anyway.

Hey candy, there is a lot of info on led grows - just gotta skip the "guides" out there, aren't that many that have done the research in LED growing and have published. So you just gotta look in the right place.

The good thing is you're already in the right place (RIU), just need to go down a few doors to "the grow room" forum -> grow journals. Then do a search for LED and you'll find some good insight on what your gonna be dealing with during your grow, and use that to guide you in determining what your needs are. It's hard for anyone to know exactly what gear would suit someone else without knowing all the grow details, but it is easy for one person to read about a handful of others' experiences, and determine for themself what they need based on the experiences they've heard.

Hope this guides you to a good place to look and makes a lil bit sense cuz I'm high as fuck right now - but I saw your last post and felt 4 ya. I thought I should at least point to where I would look.
