I'm currently having a issue where my plants leafs are turning yellow with a bronze crisp in the center . The plant slowly will turn from complete healthy green to a drooping yellow dead plant . I spray met 52 for mites and use pure blend liquid karma and teas for the feeding . This has effected several plants but not all . I know it's not root rot or so I think cuz the plant itself is sturdy in the ground even after it dies . My ph is running around 8 . I also foiler feed sea weed 3 times a week . I'm completely lost and not sure what can be causing the plant to turn yellow than droop . I'm watering 3x a week using 5 gal per plant . Please throw some ideas out there for me .

Yeah they get 5 gal per plant 3x a week . They are def getting water but it seems that the plant is locked out and not drinking

You think I should amp up my watering on all plants and see if that helps ? It still doesn't explain the slow yellowing in the center to dropping to completely dying . Atleast I wouldn't think it would . I've been growing for 5 seasons and never had this problem and I've always used 5 gals 3x a week or if the temp is 100 or more I water every day

have you done any soil tests on the soil right under your metal screen thats where your water absorbing roots are around the drip line of the plant you can have the base real wet but if your drip line is dry your plant will be dry

Yes , I am in Northern California . Your right it is very very dry out here currently . Would you suggest I just hit them with a very heavy watering and see if that helps ? Like I said I've only been doing this for 5 seasons and still have a lot to learn . If the heavy watering doesn't help do you have any other suggestions ? I appreciate the reply and help as well . Thank you .

I imported the soil from a garden store . The holes are 10x10 . Only testing I've done has been ph levels .

I have a water meter I use to make sure I don't over due it . I'll hit it with more water including the surrounding area of the holes . Hopefully it's that simple and I will feel like a idiot . The years past I've never had this issue . I've been told everything from mites to root rot to under watering from other people at the garden store I go to . Thanks again though for the help

I'll let you know if it helps . If it doesn't do you have any other ideas ? Fungicide of some sort in the center of the plant that is causing it to not to allow the plant to drink and receive nutrients possible ?

go out dump some water on it you will know In a half hr or so
the only thing I can think of other than that would be someone spraying it with weed killer or somthing similar

Yeah it's been showing this sign for a couple weeks and I actually did water it pretty heavy a few times . I foiler fed it with water only as well every night with no luck . I actually thought the same thing about the weed killer as well . I live in the center of a almond orchard and they spray a lot of stuff during the year . I have a 10 foot fence though . Hopefully this fungicide I just used will help . Regardless I'm going to replace everything after this year and go to 500 gal pots and bagged sterilized soil . Thanks again for the help though .

This is why it's so puzzling because I have healthy medium to large plants that are looking great and than randomly some are just turning yellow and dying .
