Please help! 2 plants - 2 different growth types!

Ok, so i rarely post online without already pretty much knowing whats going on. I am just open minded to advice because nobody is always right. But this time i am stumped. I have 2 plants, clones taken from the same mother at the same time and grown in the same medium. The only difference is how they were raised until i put them in flower and the fact that 1 is is a 1G pot and the other in a 2G pot. 1G pot i stress trained and topped and the other i just topped. But here we are at the end of week 3 flower and the bushy 1G has buds alm the way down the stem but isnt as frosty, but the other is much taller, bud space is greater, and the thc is even covering the fan leaves. The buds are also very dense while the others in the 1G pot are somewhat dense and you can tell they will be a good yielder but they almost seem like they are a week behind and wont be as sticky. Idk if you can see hut the leaves in the sticky plant are curled because of the thc on them. They look like they are doing better than the others but wont yield as much. They are fed from same batch of food every time and they are in the same room same light etc. So please no dumb/smartass responses, i really am very curious about this. Is there something to letting them grow naturally that changes the bud construction?? For some reason i cant get the pics to upload on my phone. I will get my laptop going with wifi tomorrow and do it that way but until than, is there any reason why this would happen without pictures?

So i managed to get the pics up. It just takes 2 minutes per picture haha. I took 2 pics of each plant from different angles and then a pic of each plant next to each other and then a close up of each plant

Stressing a plant does slow it down. You may be about a week behind because it was stressed. Plus at half the root capability, will impact overall growth rate and yield.
Why do you think the one plant has so much more frost on it? It looks like it has kush curl, unlike the shorter bushy plants

Root mass vs time over pot size.

That's the only thing that's effecting your results, in my opinion.

There's another factor tho - what kind of stress training did you use? HST or LST?
As DesertPlants said - it slows down growth a lot but it's definitely worth it in the long run if you have the space and time. Heavy stress would definitely put you back a few weeks
