Strain - UBC Kush
GH Floranova series, Pro Mix with Dolomite lime mixed at 3 cups per bale
koolbloom, GO roots, Flora Nectar,
RO water to 0ppm
Temps 66-80
RH 35% to 60% night

Day 30 of flower. The plants flowered beautifully. Showing at 10 days, they were perfect. Now they are yellowing severely. Edges of leaves have some green remaining. started at the bottoms, now its everywhere.

I did a runoff test on 4 plants, RO water PH 7.0

THE readings were
1) ppm 350 PH 6.4
2) ppm 210 PH 6.5-6.6
3) ppm 350 PH 6.8
4) ppm 420 PH 6.9

I know I dont HAVE any pics yet, but I thought someone could tell me something about the run off. IS this normal??? water goes in at 7 and comes out as,,,,,,,,???

Your ph sounds fine.. I think 400 ppm is awful low for a plant in flowering....

I concur. Whats the ppm going in? Also when you check the runoff, its a rough guestamation. Say your water goes in at 7, comes out at 6.5, split the difference and your soil ph is 6.0. Its not 100% acurrate, but it gives you a idea of what it is

What should The PPM of the runoff measure??? The water I put in was at 0 ppm. The numbers above are what came out? The highest PPM was the worst of the bunch, by far the most yellow

you should be mixing 3 TBLS of Floranova bloom per gal of water never checked my PPM but thats what I run

I must be running low. The highest PPM my feed has been at is 1260ppm. 3 Tbs per gallon 15ml/gallon. That is alot more than I use. Maybe I am just super deficient

You should be around the 1500ppm range (nutrients going IN) when in full bloom.
It sounds like you're getting a pre-mature nitrogen deficiency. During flower plants will normally yellow and drop leaves but at a slow rate and towards the end. They still need some nitrogen to make it through
Word of caution though it could be a salt buildup that requires flushing. Have you ever flushed?

If the run off I measured on the 4 plants ranged from 210ppm to 420ppm, do I need to do a flush??

I use plain water every other watering. RO water with a ppm of 0.0. I am confused now.

I will post pics soon

You need to add nutes. You say you were watering with 0 ppm water and getting 400ppm out. Dont use 3 tbsp of Floranova. I have measured using 2 tbsp and get an EC over 3. You should be feeding with 1200-1500ppm, which 3 tbsp would put you way over.

my guess is your plants are deficient for several reasons. Your feed/water regimen I BELIEVE is incorrect. Watering the plant with 0ppm water every other watering is starving it in between feedings. I find that a more consistent dose of lower ppm nutrients is better than the feast/famine regimen. Also, you do have some salt buildup although it's not horrible. In theory, your ppm should be coming out at exactly what you put it in at, or you have buildup in the root zone. If it were me, I would feed regularly around 900-1100 ppms with an occasional plain watering or flush mixed in every few weeks or so followed immediately afterwards with a light dose of fertilizer. I think of my plants like people. What kind of person would not want to eat for a full day or longer? Eating too little makes you sickly and starved, eating too much gives you a stomach ache and health problems. A steady, healthy, WELL BALANCED diet makes for a healthy person or a healthy plant. Just my 2c anyway.
