Plastic. Seriously and for a reason. (recommendations)

What is up, my doge?

I've hated some but loved almost every glass piece I've broken so far. I love glass.

But I break glass. My idiot friends break my glass. I live in a nice basement with good insulation and carpet padding but it is still a concrete floor and it eats glass for breakfast at a touch. If the floor could spit and hit the glass it would bust into a million pieces. It's just that kind of ultra-dense fine-particle foundation concrete that is utterly unforgiving. (like a garage floor) So there's that.

So I am after extreme durability. Even nice dupont oven glass is not enough to withstand the kinds of treatments that my dumb ass seems to give it as I've broken oven glass down here too (I have a tiny sub kitchen).

For many reasons that is just how it is. I'm tired of breaking nice $$$$EXPENSIVE$$$$ glass pieces made lovingly by people who care.

So what is the option? What PLASTIC stuff would anyone actually recommend if they HAD TO? Is there any steel or plastic level durable glass out there?

Thanks RIU

Hey man,

I have the same problem... My solution was to buy cheap glass of not too fancy bongs and thats it. If it breaks well its only 20 euros fuck it. And surprisingly ever since i sttopped caring if the boing breaks or not cause its cheap i havent broken anything lol.
So ye my advice is dont spend more than 30 euros on a bong and stop worrying about it.
I extremely dislike plastic bongs. I think i got trauma with it cause i had a friend who only smoked out of a plastic bong mixed it with tobacco and changed the water maybe once a fortnight... minging

My girlfriend used to break every piece I had. Cheap or expensive. So I started beating her. No but really what I've learned over the years is all glass breaks. Whenever I touch my glass now I know I have a good hold on it. If I don't I set it down and re-adjust. And I have 2 pieces that I set on a table and stand up to use so they don't move unless I'm cleaning them. I find keeping them starionary and in a designated smoking spot helps keep movement of them down and last longer. Then all you have to worry about it being careful when you clean. As for your friends, I go by the rule that if my friends use my peices they except if they break them they replace them :)
