Hi , First time growing outdoors in LA. running into some bug problems. one of my girls is getting close but is under attack by caterpillars. I have tried picking them off and searching the buds for them but im still seeing bits of the buds dying. Should i harvest early? On one of my other plants i am also seeing the leaves getting thin (see image) is this also caterpillars. i havnt been able to find anything hanging around. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like dark small droppings on IMG_3161.JPG, looks like caterpillars. Last year I did not spray BT and got lots of caterpillars. I managed to salvage some, but they made a mess. Keep checking buds for dying sugar leaves.

thanks. i gently combed through the bud and found quite a few around areas of dried leaves. Finally got the BT spray, hoping i can keep it from spreading.

Did you grow them indoors then put them outdoors?
i started this one as a clone i picked up from a local shop. vegged it indoor from april to early june. I matched the light before moving it outdoors. only this one out of 6 started flowering early. Maybe i fucked it up during the hardening phase. 2 others are clones the rest were grown from seeds and are only now beginning to bud up.
