plants staying too small

so i have a few plants.. i planted a month and a half ago. they are in between 4 and 6 inches tall and all their leaves look healthy, the steam is green on the bottom and purple/pinkish from the middle to where the leaves begin. i feel like they are taking madd long to grow.. i was wondering what was there for me to do in order to speed up the grow. im growing them in completely natural soil and i water them with bottled water, once a day. they are in my patio.. they do not receive direct sun light because i had them under the sun light and the leaves looked exhausted, and brownish, now they are right under some small palm trees and still get sun light throughout the day and obviously, at night they get their darkness time. like i said before.. they look healthy and very pretty. any tips i can get on how to make them grow faster? i got pictures if anyone needs to see them to give me a better answer. thanks.

They need more light. They are stretching really bad and probably just don' seem to be getting enough light to meet their needs. I would re-pot them and bury them deep enough so that the whole long stem is covered and just the leaves are poking out then put them in more sunlight.

You said they were drying out initially under the sun that was probably just because they hadn't developed strong enough roots yet they should be a lot better off under full sun at this point. Message me if you have more questions I will be abck on tonigh to answer them.

Badly stretched man.. Get yourself a couple of cfl's like about 8 otherwise i would say them plants will never get more than a few gramms altogether. My plants are 2 weeks old and allot healthier and more bushier and i had them in shock for a few days
