Hi all need some advice. First time growing in dwc. Grow info ad follows. 4x4 tent HLG550 V3 rspec dimmed lowest setting. Ac keeps temps at 73-77. 4 in exhaust. Th around 55, nutes GH FLORA. I have 2 blueberry muffin in a single 27 gallon tote 4 air stones. I have given them 20 mls of GH 3 part and 20 mls cal mag ph 5.8.
Everything was looking great until I changed the water in the res. I used same strength nutes.

So we have 27 gallons of water and when you measured in the Micro, Grow and Bloom you did 20ml of each one? Is the water RO water? What is your PPM?

The fact your plant looked fine before may be because it was still living on it's seed reserves that are now exhausted.

Thanks for the advise. I will bump it up. Also I think the hlg 550 was to much for these plants. I actually put my 400 MH. Back in the tent and they have perked up

I subscribe to less is more when were talking about adding loads of snake oil to your res.. but I'm 100% with Renfro on PPM's of base nutrient... Provided your ratios aren't crazy so you end up locking out certain elements (this is what happens when you add all the extra crap the hydro shops want you to buy) then high ppm's aren't an issue. Boiled down it's really this simple. If your ppm rises, the plan is using more water than nutes, so tone it down a bit, and vice versa. 1000ppm isn't high. 2000 is high.. but they'll still take it.

Just do an experiment. Take whatever nutes you are using, and mix a batch at whatever strength it tells you to on the bottle.. i'd bet my grandmother that it comes in well over 1000. We rarely ever do what it says on the bottle by the way, but I'm just using that as an example.
