Thanks again bro the new growth is very vibrant I have a scope and checked it out u know its hard to identify for a newb but I think by Christmas I should be fine it's been flowering for a lil over two months and looks like it won't be growing much more. About ten percent of some of the buds have the amber trics and the rest seems milky to me but only one way to get it right for next time lol and that is to smoke that bitch lmao
I would be harvesting right now if all the trichs are milky and about 10% are amber...of course it comes down to your own personal preference but if you are waiting until Christmas....you will be waaaaaaaaaay past good.

harv now looks like bud leaves are burning...been 2 months and you saw amber trichs so time for next run....never used MG soil but peat based soil can go acidic after a few months time to start checking pH I mean you use distilled water which is 7 but you need to know what the runoff is and the soil really.....you can assume pH is fine if there are no problems but that's just not the case.

Word dude if you flush get a cheapo GH pH test kit tell us what it says for the first bit of runoff you get.....even the distilled water I would pH to 6-6.5 but it is nice to be able to check man keeps ya from chasing phantom nute def's:)

I just kinda went thru the same thing man chasing a Mg deficiency....they really were Mg deficient but my runoff was like pH4.o dude the tested runoff was fuggin RED....water going in was GREEN....had a few grows under my belt got all cocky and forgot to add dolomite lime to my soil.....never tested pH in my life....for those grows I was on well water (pH6.0 YELLOW) and my dumbass just used tapwater and didn't test the pH lol still pulled some fire tho lol.

btw I just use the filtered water refiller at the grocery store now its $1.75 for 5 gals its RO filtered double carbon filtered UV treated....always tests @0 ppm and the pH is 7.0 when I get it and gradually goes down to 6.5 as it sits a few weeks.....my tap sucks ass.

Awww don't be a baby bro it was a ph issue bro I fixed it the runoff read at 5.6 and its a soil plant not optimal thanks though :weed:

Unless you distilled it yourself, or you got it really fresh; bottled distilled water isn't usually a perfect 7.

I disagree that soil is time consuming, compared to other growing methods. The amount of time you spend on the grow is directly related to the size of the grow and the level of care you put into it. For me mixing the soil and transplants are about the most time consuming aspects of the grow.

Now, not sure where the hostility came in but please play nice everyone k?

When I mentioned time consuming I was referring to the seed to harvest time frame bro not the actual time in which the grow takes from a growers day thanks for the advice bro
