Plants flowered pre-maturely when taken outside

This is my second grow, first outdoor grow. I put 3 teens outside just a few weeks ago thinking there was sufficient daytime light to keep them vegging until fall. (I live in Southern California). Well I was wrong and they all started to pre-flower. So Im taking my led grow light outside at night and providing them with additional hours of supplemental light. (basically 24 hours).

Obviously this isn't an ideal situation and I prefer not to flower them in doors because bringing them in and out i for the next few months is just not practical. What can I do to help them revert back more quickly? I have heard by some ti clip off the little pre-buds.

I appreciate the advice.

You can run that light for two hours at midnight and that will keep them in veg. Save you a little on electricity. 24 hours is overkill.

Good luck.

Not smokeable. Only been flowering for maybe a week. I had read that the removal of the buds will help them re-veg.
I had a few males that were early flowering, and I pinched off all the flowers on them. Some went back to veg, and some had balls the next week when I checked on them. So I guess it might help, but nothing does the trick like short dark hours.

Let 'em bud, as long as you have clones. This could be an aha moment for ya. SoCal (warm all the time) with abundant sunshine. A perpetual grow is calling you. Indoor lighting for 1 hour at midnight works perfectly to keep plants vegging (research Gas Lamp Routine). Grab some clones, let that one flower. On and on it goes. I initially thought my problem (like yours) was a bummer. THEN I adapted to my environment. Best of luck.

Put mine out mid May and they started to preflower as well. Allowed me to weed out the males and concentrate on the females. The buds are starting to elongate so I guess they vegging again. They're almost four feet tall and have about two more months of growth left to go. They going to be huge this year.

All the big plants I had this year did this, I'm avoiding adding a light because it's still before the solstice.
Whatever. A small growth delay.

Mine are still grappling with it almost three weeks after it started.
Mine too. Almost half the 1st round is early flowering. 7-8 plants, counting males. My Ass Cheese and Ass Cheese Blues looked like they might keep on flowering, so I dusted a limb of each with pollen. Even if it goes back to reveg, the seeds will continue to develop.
