Thank you...I'll have to check pH...I dont have a meter. Hopefully they have one at the local hardware store. I'm kind of new to this. But learning alot. It's pretty interestingI would try a flush with fresh water, clean up the death and hope the new growth recovers.
pH off? Very yellow which makes me think so.
Yes it is..It's the 6 month feeding kind...Plants have done amazing. Until now...I've already lost like 8. It's like they go until a certain point and then some thing kills them . Very aggravating. Is this miracle grow potting soil? Tell me a little about the soil. maybe I can help
If you going to use MG soil use their organic choice and maybe some perlite. The timed feeding soils are bad and MG soils clump together making it hard for roots to grow. do you know what happens when you run mass amounts of water over a soil with nutrient pellets in it? that's first off. second, forget the word flush, that is a stoner thing made up by stoners and continued by stoners.I have heard/seen more people with plants that look like this using miracle grow soil on all the forums. Must be salts/nute interaction. Maybe a flush let it dry then flush once more or just start over with a good soil mix (would be my choice).
I bet if you transplanted them into good soil they would thrive in five days.
Will do. Yes they have drains. Never knew about the roots and lights. I'm going to switch containers and soil and hopefully make progress. Now, OP, do you have drain holes in those containers, and why are you using clear containers? roots don't like light.
but the real problem is that they are to young for that hot ass soil which as stated is not good for MJ. If it were me, I would try and transplant them into something better. But that's me. new soil, new pots
Nice roots. How far do u keep ur led light away?
Are you growing organic? If not, an inert medium like peat or coco works best with bottled nutes. If you want to use soil with bottled nutes, a cheap soil with good drainage and no added nutes will be fine. Will do. Yes they have drains. Never knew about the roots and lights. 20 inches at first with only diodes on, transplanted then put them on the floor about 32 inches, plan on firing up cobs soon. Still working on heat, steady 74-78 but when cobs fire up temps hit 90.Nice roots. How far do u keep ur led light away?
Find some mg organic choice from lowes or home depot or (preferably) some fox farm soil from a local nursery, gardening, or even a hydro store may have some. I've got the soil ordered. No where close to me sells it. Do I need to add any nutes with the good Fox farm soil? I also ordered some perlite to mix in. Learning as I go. Very interesting. Good start bud, which soil did you order? The the happy frog and the ocean forest you want to wait a week or two depending on pot size before adding any nutes. They have lots of goods in em' already. In big enoungh pots no nutes really needed with ocean forest, but you can add them after the plant uses up some of the soil nutrients. Start at 1/4 recommended measurements every other watering and ease into it. But be sure your nute mix is ph'd 6.0-6.6 range.I've got the soil ordered. No where close to me sells it.
