Planting directly in Smart Pots?

I'm doing my second grow, On my first grow I grew in 2.6 gal hydrofarm white tubs and transplanted into 5/7 gal smart pots and then flowered under my 1000w


Right now Im transplanting the ones for my next cycle from 2.6 gal tubs and its pretty damn annoying and was wondering if i could just plant directly in 7 gal smart pots?

you can, some people like to stage transplants feeling that the roots make better use of the soil. others do it for space savings, but you can plant directly into the large final pots from the start, but they may end up wanting more room before they are done.
