Plant wont grow

One of my plants is not really growing. I've had them for 8 weeks and all my others have been growing great. (see pic)

I transplanted them once, but even in the cup it just was not growing. It got a better when I put it in the pot (two weeks ago) but its still very small.

Is there anything I can do to jumpstart it?

I have a mini plant also.Every once in awhile you get a slow geneitic plant. It wont be the 1 you want for clones lol.The pots you have them all in are pretty small and you should fill them to the top with dirt to at least give the roots more grow room. Not sure what dirt your useing but I usually use miracle grow moisture control. If your using a no feed soil try giving a light nitrogen feed during water and get the plant closer to the lights.I keep my T-8 florescent lights touching the top of the plants almost within quarter inch max away. See if that helps keep temps above 75 degrees for young one also but not more then 80

if you're not to attached to it and can stand the agony of doing this i have a suggestion. if you trim the top growth it will send the energy back down into the plant and it will come back even stronger, this may just be the jumpstart that you're looking for. of course it will take a little more time for it to bud but it may be well worth the wait when that time comes around.

like fletch said.....you don't want to clone it; if it's a female; if it ever gets big enough. however, it may turn out to be the dankest nug you ever smoke. good luck.

I took the mini plant out of the dirt and found that it had 2 very small roots. And a wooden-like root (didnt look right).

What I did was an experiment; I grabbed the midget and cut the stem at a 45 angle, put it in clone gel, and stuck it into some clone sponges I bought at the hydro store. It looked really weak the first day, but it's starting to look healthy. No roots yet, its only the 4th day. I hope I can save it.

I'd just kill it. Why let it take up the room? It's a runt. It'll probably take about 3 months to mature enough before you can instigate flower anyway.

I have a rule i go by, if it's a mutant, grow it. If it's a runt, kill it.

When I visit my plants I like to marvel at their progression. A runt just fills me with disgust. Die, it must.

Why? It really isn't worth all your effort. But then, it's often a good idea to find these things out for yourself.
