start flowering when your plants are ready to double in size cause most strains will. Also is good to let them show sex before flowering but not needed

I'm new to this as well and I'm running two 400 mh/hps with a cheap wing reflector. Your setup looks killer from your pics but your plants are so far away from the light even though by the looks of it you have a cool tube and exhaust so you should be able to bring your lights down closer. Not sure if that would help with your height concern but it seems like it would help your plants. It does look like you're ready for transplant though. :weed:

it looks like some of the clones are having trouble building roots. i would suggest replanting the lesser clones and while doing so, trim about a half inch of old roots of the ends off the root mass, if there is one. also, using a fork, lightly free up the roots from the mold of the cup. also, try some drainage holes in the bottom of the cups. techna flora's Thrive Alive B-1 (both red and green) are good nutes to look into if growing from clones

i will probably follow your advice happyman. I have two 5 gallon buckets laying around. I'll probably transplant the shorter indicas into the black buckets and keep the kosher kush/skywalker in their original (9"x9")(10"tall) pots . As soon as that is done and I can guarantee there are no more gnats I am switching the lights to 12/12, I'm tryin to see buds soon. Thanks for the advice guys. I really wasn't trying to transplant, but it seems inevitable.

Let a clone show sex? A clone would be from a female, and be a female as it is an exact copy, it wouldn't be showing sex it would be showing signs of maturity, you would already know the sex is female you are not looking for a male clone(unless the person you got it from wanted to be a dick and clone a male plant for you)
