So I just started my veg state and my plant is weeping a little. The bottom leaves are starting to turn yellowish, I know I haven't watered has much as I did when she was a seedling, I'm still giving her a good amount of water but maybe a little more? Would hate for her to die. I'm running one plant under a single 60wt cfl. Please help!

Well there's half your problem, your girl sounds like she needs more light. What nutrients are you using & at what strength? The most common cause of yellowing is a lack of Nitrogen but without pics we can only guess.

Well I had just gotten done watering it. As far as ph I don't have a scale and is it necessary to transplant to new soil?

You want to ph everything you feed her to 6.5.

The pot she is in looks small, You could finish in it but that will impact yield. So I assumed you planned to.

So what is your soil?

Right now I'm using miricle grow as I've heard people say it's ok to use and some say it's all they use. What's the best way to ph some plant food? As you can tell I'm a newbie and can't have her die haha

You need to buy a ph pen, calibration solution, and ph adjuster. Basically like a fish tank, adjust the ph of anything (plain water or water/nute mix) to 6.5.

With mg, be really careful adding nutes. it is full of them already. I would wait until newer growth shows signs of needing it. I use a mix with virtually no nutes so i can control them.

I had the exact same problem. If your a nube like me, its almost guarenteed overwatering. And leave the nutes alonefor now. I was only watering mine every 3 days, and the soil seemed dry. I pulled the 2 that were most stunted yesterday. Upon examining the soil, it was still plenty moist even though the top was dry. The roots were getting suffocated from the lack of oxygen and the leaves drooped and the lowest leaves began to yellow. Also the roots were begining to already show some signs of rot. I'm relearning what I thought I knew about plants. The roots need oxygen, just as much as they need water. Its a cycle I am begining to understand. Havnt watered in 6 days and everything is improving greatly and growth rate is increasing. Waiting to see what my plant looks like when it actuallly needs water.

And DO NOT transplant it until you get everything else figured out with your PH and nutes and watering because if it's stressing over PH and then you transplant it, all that stress can really put a damper on the plant. If it's an AUTO then leave it in that pot, If you are just doing this to get a small yield then leave it in that pot. Unless you're very good and knowledgable on transplanting you'll do more damage than good.

If you do get the PH in check between 6.5-6.8 then make sure you look up videos and explanations of how to transplant safely without doing much/any root damage before you go trying to do it. (also make sure that the soil in the larger pot is PH checked)

You planted in miracle grow soil. All of them I looked at have some nutes already in the soil. All of them say they feed for some period of time. I think that was even the case with their "organic" soils. You want to go really light when you start to feed them anything other than plain water. If you are using an "enriched" soil, then you probably don't want to feed them yet. New growth has good color. Does the pot drain well? Can you tell how wet the soil is from one of the drain holes? compare that to the top of pot. It doesn't want to be soaking wet down there all the time. No sexual implications intended. :o
and you can pick up a cheap moisture meter at you local hardware place for probably less than $10. It has probes so you can check the moisture at different depths.
