Plant Size Question

I have 2 plants, both are 2 weeks old. They both are very healthy...but the weird thing is....is that one is A LOT smaller. (About an inch high with half inch leaves). A week ago I thought it was surely going to die, like it had bad genetics or something since it seemed to be growing so small, but I know that's not the case anymore. It's growing leaves just like my larger one is doing, except they're a lot smaller...it's like a little replica :P. Is this normal? Have you ever had a plant so small?

Sorry, I don't have pics at the moment, I'll try to get some later.

Edit: Btw, I got the two seeds from a bag of weed

It happens. One might get a bad start for several reasons. Could have been differences in germinating rates, when sprouting one could have had an easier time.

Oh yeah, forgot to add they came from an unknown strain of weed bag.

@mogie - So if it had a bad start, will it permanently be short? I thought that was the reason too before, but even it's new leaves are short, and I'm treating both plants exactly the same.

were they from the same bag? or are they from different ones? It could be possible that one is sativa and one is indica maybe...just my two cents.

It should catch up if it was just a bad start. If they are different strains that is another matter.

my male plants always grew larger alot faster then the females. i dont know but the one with the rapid growth might be a male.

to try and figure males grow faster would be a bad idea to go by.Some seeds are slower just like people or animals.
