I'm going to be gone for 5 days and i usually have to water my plant once a day because the top soil gets all dry after one day, so i was wondering do i need someone to come and water my plant while im gone? ive heard im watering it too much but if the top soil is dry then the plant needs to be watered doesnt it?

no it does not. remember that there is water all throughout your pot. what you are doing is hindering root growth. your roots are not expanding to gain water, it is being brought right to them so why should they spead out? leaving the plant for 5 days would be ok only if they are not new plants. remember, the more root growth, the bigger the plant will be. and the bigger the plant, the bigger the yield.

damnn, thanks though. i read somewhere if the top soil was dry that it needed to be watered, so this kinda sucks knowing this late, my badd. If my plants already about 3 tall will i still be able to get a good yield? if not about how much?
