Plant shocked into flowering?

Hi guys,

Just curious if see if anyone has had experience or heard of fimming a plant during veg causing it to start flowering.

I had some clones in an aerocloner with 500m of roots and when I took them from 18/6 light cycle and potted outdoors it really took off, like 2 feet in only 2 weeks.

I returned from 2 weeks at work and decided to fimm the plant and 1 week later it started flowering.

The daylight here is over 12hrs at the moment and days are getting longer.

Its a wedding cake strain that I was hoping would get massive.

Any help or ideas on what woukd have caused this??

Thanks

You shortened the light cycle.. so it immediately went into the flower stretch.
