hey man...cool link...thanks. I did this by accident yesterday when I was ying over the main stem of my BigBud, and I almost sank to the floor cuz I thought it broke. But it did exactly as you and the video say.....I like that idea of supercropping....thanks again!
Watch this video. It will teach you how to supercrop.

YouTube - Cultivation 102: Super Cropping

Supercropping sounds like your best bet. Just be gentle when bending the stem.

put some holes in the pot, get some string and grad. bend the plant, a little, till its were you want it to be, if you want to cut the cola off, make sure where you have cut, to put tape, or wax, on the exposed cut, so it dont go mouldy.
but why no pics, we mite be able to help better, if you can post some pics, even from your phone.
plus when you bend it down, it wont take up too much space cos it will try to grow back upwards, so you have to keep tieing till you get it were you want it. tiny steps, no snapping.

I had the same problem 2 out of 3 hit my light and I cut the top cola. It seemed to help the plant alot. I had to cut 2 colas on one plant, and its kicking ass everywhere now. The only thing is that your supposed to flush your tank before harvest. So I have a couple of colas with some fert in them.

thanks you've been very helpful, i chopped off 4 fan leaves between yesterday and today, the wounds seemed to heal fine, a little brown but dont seem too bad. ive noticed the lower colas already shot up higher. The plant seemed to have benefitted from this. i noticed an increase in growth in all the colas and smallers branches. along with all the small leaves. should i take any step for the wounds to make sure nothing happens to it such as an infection or maybe molding.

tahoe i found it easier to cut the leaf near the beginning of the leaflets on the leaves leaving like 2-5 inches of leaf stem exposed, this being, if it does get moldy or infected you can easily cut off more of the stem and hope for a better heal, carmex or chapstick keeps the wounds from molding or getting extremely dry. unfortunately i cut my first leaf close to the main stem and it turned an ugly ass brown color. but it seems to be ok

well it was too late to supercrop but i do know now that i can grow massive plants in a small space, ive been exceptionally happy with my first crop, this has been the only problem i've ran into, and thanks to all the helpful people on here i feel my first crop will be a nice yield and a very happy toke.

valuable

yea i cut 4 leaves off and left the main cola and all the surrounding colas shot up like crazy. today is day 14 of flowering so im hoping vertical growth slows more and more everyday. i've noticed the main cola not growing as much as it used to, yet since i've cut leaves the 4 surrounding colas are now within 1-2 inches of the height of the main cola. so im hoping it slows up real soon.

hey remember I think I mentioned that I had one that touched the light and got a little fried? well, I had picked off that damaged top, and it had already been forming pretty good....well it has now grown two more tops out of that....and this was not your typical topping exercise....the top was totally already forming....I certainly didn't expect that to happen?
