The posted pic's look like cal-mag def to me
I know I don't expertise which is exactly why I'm posting on a forum to try and get help from someone who does. Tbh the plant looks like it's doing alright now, I mean the leaves with bad brown spots (looks like rust) are dying and curling upwards, but there is new growth coming through that looks healthy and green so I'm feeling pretty good the plant has definitely got a bit bigger. Before it seemed like it had totally stopped growing.View attachment 3133836View attachment 3133837 View attachment 3133837 View attachment 3133838
Yh it's auto northern lights and its on a 24/0 light schedule. I've given it cal mag and Epsom salts. No molasses tho. Cheers for everyone's responses![]()
hang on... one person say its got a cal mag deficiencey and the grower says he fed it exactly that !!
shows clearly there are some ppl who are noobs and just dont know what they are doing at all.
its clearly overfed / watered ..
my ongoing point is...
if you never fed it a thing and didnt overwater it.. it would be fine.
sorry its clearly obvious.
peace though

It's not over fed and it's not a cal/mag issue. If it's only on the lower leaves and your plant seams happy other then that, aka new growth is green and lush, I wouldn't stress about it to much, just keep an eye on it.
It is not unheard of for lower/older growth to slowly die and become necrotic, especially during flowering.
People don't believe me but those big old fan leaves are competitors for energy, if your plant is putting it's energy into making bud sometimes it sheds these leaves.
It is a calcium deficieny, I'm almost certain. Adding mange-cal made the plant look much healthier in a couple days so got to be helping. I feed it every other watering, which atm is every 4 days they get nutes. It's Will be getting biobizz bloom, grow and top max as well as pk1314 on the next watering. HG I'm sorry mate but your barking up the wrong tree. DC you reckon I should be feeding more ? I mean the pots dont dry for two days, how is it possible to feed it more. I heard feeding 1x a week or every other watering was ok ? Also I've given it 2 doses of Epsom salts and one dose of plant magic mange-cal, do I need to continue giving it magne-cal through the whole flowering stage?
Btw DC is it proven that giving the plant light periods allows more trics to form? In the back of my mind I got the feeling it was a good thing but I got lazy and just left the lights running.
Cheers DC, much appreciation man.![]()
