Plant hasn't stretched

Just curious guys this is my afghan kush x white widow in a 2.5 gallon Hempy bucket vegged for about 6 weeks. Topped at week 3. I'm using around 270 watts of mixed spectrum cfl mostly 2700k and 6500k. My question is that i changed to 12 12 about 2.5 weeks ago and I was expecting some stretch by now but it hasn't stretched at all. Showed sex at 12 days. Any input appreciated!

Part if stretch mechanism is stretching toward light. With cfl that close not sure I will get much. I use led w cfl supplement from below

Thanks for the reply. I'm just wishing I would have vegged longer since I have another 14 inches of height. Do you think it will still yield well?

each time you learn a little more, what works for you or not.

The "stretch" of Indicas can be minimal at times. Definitely less than the "expect 2-3X size increase during stretch" often quoted.

The yield shouldn't depend on stretch all that much. Yield is more about the genetics, your nutes n light at this point. Don't rush your chop. Make sure trichs are ready n buds have swelled . Impatience is your biggest foe now.

Looking good man. I wouldn't worry about the lack of stretch. Indica dominance is really strong in those genes.
