i have intelligence. i can help.

i think you are referring to plant food as being something you bought that states it is "plant food". i've seen this at places like K-mart and Walmart. i think the plant spikes are called plant food. nutes are the same only more specific. "nutes" is more a growing term which stands for nutrients. when speaking of a specific "food", such as nitrogen, we call them "nutes".

hope that helped. and welcome to rollitup.

damn, you are stupid.
wtf is that? First off your answer was wrong. Obviously he was talking about something marketed as "plant food". Do a google search for "Plant Food" and see how many sites say "light". I don't understand why people feel the need to reply with useless shit when a noob has a simple question that can be answered quickly and easily.

Because you can over FEED it with nutes. Just like if you went to Jack in the Box and ordered 15 burgers instead of 1. You don't come out of Jack in the Box and bitch that you got too much light.

I haven't seen one useful post from you since you've been here. Why do you come? And why do you post? I guess I can see where you clearly need to come to gather the knowledge of others, please don't degrade the quality of this informational source with misinformation and utterly useless posts. It's just a waste of everyones time.

people people people. calm down. no need to turn this potentially informative thread into a useless banter. first of all we should ask this kid what kind of plant food he is using, and tell him the proper npk that he wants. plant food and nutrients are the same. light is obviously also important, whether you choose to call it food or not is just a semantic dispute. everything a plant uses is essentially food. but im sure what this kid is talking about is nutrients.

Userfriendly, this is the outdoor growing forum, not the sexuality or politics forums. This is not the place to start insulting people, particularly a newb. As I've said, if that's what you like to do then keep it in the sexuality and politics forums.

Likewise if you feel the need to respond badly to this post, then please start another thread and pm me the link.

alright guys finally checkin back into this thread. appreaciate the helpful advice so far. this is the stuff that ive been using its clearly labeled plant food but it still seems that people are discussing the difference between plant food and nutrients. TerraCycle Inc its basicly made up of worm castings and its supposidly completly natural and u cant burn the plants from too much of it, but ive never purposly tried to give my plants too much so im not sure if this is true. thanks for all the help so far.
