Planning on growing 1 hectare. Need help from people that know what to do please

So, of course space isn't a problem.

I'm planning to grow 1 hectare of weed. I don't have access to many strains of seeds but I do have the space needed to grow. Stealth really isn't an issue either. I would like to know the following.

- How far apart should I plant each seed?
-Do I germinate the seeds first, and then plant? (I need a rough estimate of how many seeds I will need) 1 hectare= 10,000 square metres (100 m by 100 m)
-Is there a fast way of planting the seeds? because I guess that germinating 5,000 seeds and planting then isn't easy..

If there is some one out there that can answer this questions and some similar like this, I would greatly appreciate a response guys :-P

if conditions are right, plants may need as much (or even more) than a 10' x 10' space each. 100 meters is 328 feet, so that gives you 32 rows with 32 plants each, totaling 1,024 plants.

unless you can identify females before the grow begins and possibly clone them or create feminized seeds from them, you'll need to plan on killing roughly half those plants when you can identify sex. otherwise the males will pollinate the females and you will get seeded cannabis, which is less desirable.

as far as planting seeds quickly, i hear that tractors with special attachments for planting seeds are all the rage among farmers.

if you want to avoid having to kill half your crop once sex shows, i would somehow identify some female plants, clone the shit out of them until i had 1,024 starts, and plant them in neat and tidy rows of 32 x 32. i mean, your name is bolivia grower, so i imagine you are somewhat near the equator and can grow year round. even if you're not in the warm part of the country, you're still in the southern hemisphere, so you have tons of time until your season is ready.

damn, now i'm daydreaming about what i would do with a hectare to plant on. BONER.

you are definitely going to want some farm equipment for this scale of operation.... or some trustworthy friends. You can't order seeds in the mail? Would be stupid to grow 1 hector of some shitty genetics.

i could almost imagine doing a hectare solo. it would be non stop work every day for 10 months from seed mothers to female clones to harvest, but it's possible.

plant hundreds of seeds indoors or in a greenhouse (if you're in the right part of bolivia), sex/clone them once they're big enough. 2 months or so from seed to sex/clone.

produce a shitload of clones from sexed mothers/clones, harden off for outdoor planting. another 2 months.

plant them into the hectare over the course of a few days to a week.

irrigation on a budget for a plot that size would be difficult and require a lot of labor. imagine having to water 1,024 plants. BONER.

hi boliviagrower, funny thing... I was in bolivia last year collecting some strains and had the same idea as you while camping in a jungle at 8,500 ft

there are a couple of things you could try, just get irrigation hoses, a pump (solar if it's some kind of guerrilla) and a big enough pool or tank. You could use even timer to water the plants once a day (or two)
(same setup as growing any kind of vegetables, just ask any farmer what method do they use to irrigate and that will be fine)

A month or two before starting to put the plants in the soil, you can enrich the substrate with mulch, ashes, animal manure, etc

The strains could be any hibrid or sativa dominant, indicas are not good if you have rains or high humidity during flowering time, this could be prevended by starting late, lets say putting your plants in march/april so the photoperiod induces the plants to start flowering short while approaching to the dry season (i don't know exactly the weather in santa cruz, but the better months to flower indicas are the driests)

Usually in south america you start in september if you want monster plants, and harvest them by april-may but, using less seeds. Or start by december, get all the summer to veg and you could get a decent harvest in 5 months instead of 7-8.

Autoflowering strains could be useful since they don't get big and you can harvest them every 60-70 days instead of having one or two crops per year.

My advice, try to get some strains, cross them indoors and make your own seeds for free.

I have a feeling if this grow is happening in Bolivia, the genetics won't matter too much nor would a couple males seeding up the crop. This stuff is likely going local or gonna be bricked up and offed to the cartels.

Damn! Finally found that thread on Bolivian brick weed that I've been searching for. Bye bye Mexi. Hellooooo Mr Escobar's nephew!

Dude all you need are a couple thousand seeds (fuck the sexing... the goal is 10 hectare tons of brick).

You'll also need...

A tractor, disk plow, tiller, rake, seeder, 20 tons of lime, agri spreader, two drilled wells, irrigation system, your uncle's former employees to chop and drag, a 2,500,000 BTU a/c drying room, and baling twine. Lots and lots of plastic wrap. And a really big fucking truck. And a plane. Maybe two.

Hahahhaha, Mexi weed sucks, you should get your hands on the Paraguayan weed :)
I am planning to have 1000 seeds to grow on 1 hectare. I don't think I want more...though if everything goes smooth, I might plant more.
I got machinery to plant, have 150 hectares of Soy.
Only thing I'm missing is the irrigation system, which I have to think of a way to build/buy one.

Peace

Casero!! I've been looking everywhere for good strains, but the THC level doesn't seem to matter here :S :S :S

I will post pictures when I start planting, I hope they do ok.
Where did you go in Bolivia? You should talk to me if you wanna come back, I got my shit covered here haha.

Thanks for the advice though, what strains did you get your hand on? do you remember the local names they put to those strains?
Peace

Will plants get really big? Plants could get sunlight from 6am to 6pm, that's 12 hours of sunlight. In the night temps are about 25-28 celcius, so it's pretty hot. How much time of veg should I require? Here people don't know the different kinds of weed :S like indica or sativa. I guess if I post pictures of my month old weed plants you could tell?

I don't care much if the plants are males or females, I just wish to know how to make seeds, because it's not easy to find 1000+ seeds here, worse if you try to find ones that actually germinate. (People here don't store seeds properly :/)

Any help is appreciated.

I got farm equipment, and about 3 people to help me. Genetics will kind of suck cause seeds are too expensive to buy online. I'm looking to plant around 1000 seeds.

It's possible man! I'm really gonna do it, will post pictures of the plantation. Only problem is that like my rank is "stranger" I think. I don't know much about weed itself. I'm growing weed in a closet I designed. They are doing pretty good actually. I have no clue about the difference in male/female. I don't know how they have "sex". I do know about vegetative and flowering stage though. But not much more than that.

Thanks for the help
If you could give me a good link or something I would greatly appreciate it.

PS- How could I water 1000+ plants?? How often do they need water? Look at the reply in your first post, to see the amount of sunlight they will get!
Peace
